We want to make you feel as a part of our community all the way through your experience here at the University of Worcester, so we make sure you are being supported right from the moment you decide to study with us.
Our International Department has 3 areas that offer you support throughout your journey.
The International Recruitment department is the first point of contact when you are enquiring about a course at the University of Worcester. They provide you with information about the university and what it actually means for you to come here as an international student. They will support you through your application process, supervise your arrival and make sure you settle in.
The International Experience is the department that supports you across your time at the university. They organise an International Welcome Week with multiple activities to help you familiarize yourself through the city, social events to help you meet new people while you are here and “student priced” trips to make sure you travel and get the best of your British experience!
They are also the ones that help you if you decide to study a semester abroad and guide you through the process for applying for it, and also they can answer your visa and work permits related questions.
Centre for Academic English and Skills is another part of the International department, and it is the one that runs Pre-sessional English courses for improvement before your lectures start and academic English courses including one-to-one sessions.
