Infrastructure feedback

The University is developing its site, along the Hylton Road, to create a new campus for Health and Wellbeing.

In addition to the refurbishment of the former Berrows House (Worcester News) building into a state-of-the-art teaching facility for future health professional students, we are planning on developing the wider site to create a campus with pedestrian, cycle and vehicle routes. This will also include the necessary infrastructure for in the region of 100 electric vehicle charging points and enhancements including flood mitigation measures, improvements to increase cycle use and pedestrian access to the campus and on into the City.

We are in the process of developing a planning application for this work and are keen to hear your feedback on the proposals. To assist with this, we would appreciate you responding to the following questions.

Please provide any feedback / comments by Wednesday 23 June 2021.

We will also be looking to submit a planning application for a new International Inclusive Cricket Education Centre and residents are able to comment on these plans here.

Over time we will also be working with the City Council and other key stakeholders to create a wellbeing route which will be available to all. A zone has been identified on the Campus for this and further details, and an opportunity to comment, will be provided as soon as they are available.
