BMet (Birmingham Metropolitan College)

Birmingham Metropolitan College is one of the leading providers of further and higher education in the West Midlands.

BMET offers a wide choice of A Levels, vocational courses, apprenticeships as well as full and part-time courses for adults including Access to HE and university level study.

BMet is comprised of three main colleges and a number of satellite sites in Birmingham: Matthew Boulton College, Sutton Coldfield College and James Watt College in Birmingham.

Dudley College of Technology

Based in the Black Country, Dudley College of Technology is a Further Education College rated Good by OFSTED. The college offers courses from Entry level and GCSEs through to higher-level level study and apprenticeships in a range of subject areas.  Courses are high quality and affordable and linked to local and regional jobs and skills.

Dudley University Centre

The Dudley University Centre is jointly funded by Dudley College of Technology and the University of Worcester. The vision is to provide a hub for higher education for those attending Dudley College of Technology and the local community. This will raise educational aspiration, encouraging increased participation in higher education, particularly by those who may not otherwise have considered it. It will further raise the profile of Dudley College of Technology and University of Worcester in the Black Country. 

The Aims are: 

  • To increase progression to HE within the college and to the University of Worcester.   
  • To further develop additional HE curriculum through partnership and increase student numbers.   
  • To provide enrichment for the learners through the delivery of subject-based master classes by UW staff at DCT. 
  • To raise the profile of the courses offered by Dudley College of Technology and their links to the University of Worcester.   
  • To raise the profile of the University of Worcester in the Black Country  to attract more applications from potential students living in the area.   
  • To provide a more visible manifestation of the existing partnership working and educational opportunities that have been developed.

Herefordshire, Ludlow College & North Shropshire College

Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College's emphasis is on the success of every single student.

The vision is to provide a hub for higher education for those attending Herefordshire, Ludlow & North Shropshire College and the local community. Millenium Performing Arts College

Millennium Performing Arts College was founded as a vocational training centre in Musical Theatre and Dance in 1997. Today, MPA College provides both validated and internally awarded PROFESSIONAL DEGREES and DIPLOMAs towards achieving a professional standard. We cover all major Dance and/or Musical Theatre techniques as listed:

  • Jazz Dance
  • Contemporary Dance
  • Tap Dance
  • Ballet
  • Singing
  • Acting

This is also training in Body Management, Vocal Skills/Voice, Musicianship, Workshops and Contextual Studies, all of which are needed to achieve a career in Dance or Musical Theatre. MPA College devotes time and energy to recognise and meet individual needs and aspirations. All subject elements are taught by highly experienced industry professionals, who also have expertise for teaching and developing skills in students.

 Millennium Performing Arts College has always been a friendly but professionally focussed College. Staff know all students personally and take a deep interest in their progression and development. NCT  is the UK’s leading charity for parents, for the First 1,000 Days - right through pregnancy, birth and beyond. A new course will be offered to train practitioners to support new families through pregnancy and the early days of parenthood.

Somerset Centre for Integrated Learning

Support Services for Education (SSE) is a traded unit within Somerset County Council that offers a wide variety of support services to all education providers. 

As a public sector traded unit it provides the right balance between public sector ethos and commercial practice. Somerset Centre for Integrated Learning (SCIL) is the training team for SSE. They are committed to making a difference to children and young people by working in partnership with others.

Walsall College

Walsall College is one of the most successful colleges in the country – a place where more than 14,000 people study vocational technical qualifications, apprenticeships and higher education programmes each year. Higher education provision is well established in the College and there are plans to expand its Adult and Community provision through its new Vision and Purpose 2025-2030.

West Midlands Circus Centre

The West Midlands Circus Centre is an industry leading circus training centre and community space in the heart of Birmingham. With classes and courses in aerial arts, parkour, dance, performance and wellbeing practices such as yoga and meditation, for all ages.  We run SEND friendly sessions, projects for those with disabilities, and even offer work with care homes and those over 75. We believe in the power of the arts and we are passionate to share that with as many as we can.
