How much will I pay into my pension scheme?
Once you are enrolled into a pension scheme your contributions will be automatically deducted from your salary each month. In addition, your employer will also make a contribution to the scheme based on your earnings.
For the Aviva FlexHE scheme you can choose from one of four contribution rates and your employer will match that rate – the contribution rate options available are: -

Aviva FlexHE members can also opt to change their chosen rate during the course of employment, to suit their current financial situation or retirement planning needs. Should they wish to do so, individuals will be able to make a change to their contribution rate as often as once a year and with effect from the anniversary of their pension enrolment date - i.e. if an individual commences in post and joins the pension scheme on 1st September, they would be able to change their selected contribution rate with effect from 1st September in any future years.
