Student Testimonials
Enohor Igben
In January 2020, I started an MBA programme at the University of Worcester. The practicality of the MBA during the economic downturn due to COVID-19 made the experience unique for me and my colleagues. Overall, the MBA helped me to harness my leadership skills (i.e., course rep role) and grow my professional network. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Worcester as I made lifelong friends and learnt a lot about different cultures. Upon completion, I was made 3 offers and I’m currently a Consulting Analyst at Accenture. This was possible with support from the University’s Careers & Employability service alongside some key staff who conducted free mock interviews with me. So, take a chance with WBS today!

Before I arrived at Worcester, I had envisaged I would be just fine because of the support I had received from my course adviser and the University. The follow-up was thorough, and it made me feel reassured about my place at the university. As an International student, I am always reminded of the University’s support and access to different beneficial services and engaging activities.
I would describe Worcester as a friendly city with serene, clear blue skies. I remember meeting up with total strangers on my first day, and they were willing to show me around. It is hard to get lost at Worcester; I understand this is one of the most important factors for international students.
Also, The Nigerian Society at the University of Worcester is a thriving society. Being the chair has given me a solid community with other students, not limited to just Nigerians, with opportunities to connect, reach out, and be part of a forward and supportive people. This has reduced the feeling of being alone. Worcester has given me deeper insight and boosted my morale and boldness to try new things.

My name is Claire, and I am an international student from Nigeria enrolled at the University of Worcester. Being a Nursing student can be very demanding, and I was very nervous to leave my home country to study in a place where I didn't even know anyone or have a family.
UoW is such a diverse and beautiful place to study, I still receive regular support from the staff and students. Everyone is super friendly and eager to help.
Worcester City is a lovely and peaceful place to reside, it is simple to get around town by walking or taking the bus.
I can go on and on, so all I would say, is..... I am happy that I have found a home away from home.
