Please read what some of our current Estonian students are saying about Worcester.
Kati Tammeleht
Business, Marketing and Leadership (BA Hons)
I have always wanted to study in England since I was a little girl and now I am living my dream by studying at the University of Worcester.
Since day one everyone at the university has been very welcoming, it is such a friendly university with a mixture of different nationalities. You really feel the support given by the University of Worcester, if you are struggling there is always a door open to answer your questions or reassure you.
I really enjoy my course and like the fact lectures are with small groups of people and the lecturers are very approachable if you are unsure or do not understand something. The university has a library called the Hive, I like to study here because it has so many different areas. My favourite area is the ‘Quiet Level’ as it really helps me focus. I also like the Peirson Study and Guidance Centre which is open 24/7.
Studying here has given me the opportunity to see the English culture first-hand and I enjoy living in the city of Worcester as it is well connected and everyone is friendly. There is a great student culture in the city meaning there is always something to do socially.
I am very glad I chose to study at the University of Worcester; it was definitely the right decision for me and I would recommend it to anyone.
Greete Tikerpuu
Sports Studies BSc (Hons)
My name is Greete and I’m from a small Baltic country (2814km from Worcester) called Estonia. I came to Worcester because I found the best course for myself which is Sports Studies and also this place looked really pretty. The course I’m doing is very interesting because of the practical lectures we have outside or at the gym.
The University of Worcester is the most supportive university that I have seen, they help people with different abilities and also make International students life easier for example by offering language modules. Favorite thing about Worcester is the “size”, you can get everywhere very quickly. It is safe, people are very kind and there is nothing to worry about. The biggest help I got from the university was about the student loan – University provided me with a money advisor who helped me to find a solution to my problem
I love being a student at the University of Worcester because I have made a lot of friends and it is different from my home country.
I would definitely recommend this university to future International students because studying abroad gives you an amazing experience and why not do it at the University of Worcester.
