International Foundation Diploma

I am studying for the International Foundation Diploma at the University of Worcester. I came to study here via Springboard in Cambodia. There are many reasons why I came to study in the UK, having a good accent in English like the native speaker is what I always dreamed about. Moreover, I like travelling to many different places which are full of excitement and also I can learn about many different cultures as well.

Worcester is a good start for me, it is a small place but there are many things to do and learn. About the study over here, it is quite different from the system in Cambodia. During study for each module, students have to do a great deal of research, group work or even individual studies. In the library, there are useful resources for students to do their assignments and also it is a good place to study.

In class, the tutors are all helpful and kind, we can talk or make an appointment with them any time we have doubts or do not understand about the lesson.

Most importantly, life in Worcester is very interesting. I found it is easy to settle down here because the people are so nice and well educated. I can say that it is a peaceful place for studying and living; I enjoy my life with many different activities. Many opportunities are provided for students such as travelling to other places in the UK with other students from the University, part time jobs for students to earn money and experience, sports for relaxing and many other things.
