Horticulture BSc (Hons)
I’m studying at Pershore College (one of the University’s partner colleges) and I really like it here as people are helpful and friendly. I wanted to study horticulture and chose the University of Worcester expecting to study in Worcester City but I’m really grateful to be a student at Pershore, it is of much benefit to my course.
I enjoy everything about my course and this is now my final year and I can feel the difference in the effort I have to put in especially for the dissertation. It is completely independent and good practice for when you start your working life. The part I enjoyed the most has been learning to drive a tractor!!! I love it! I am looking forward to applying what I learnt to Brunei when I return and work for the government.
At times it is has been hard as I haven’t had my family around me but it has been really easy to make friends and I have learnt how to cook which I would not have done if I had stayed at home. Also the weather is different as we don’t have four seasons in Brunei but you get used to it and I will miss it when I return home.
Both Worcester and Pershore are great places to be, I love the peaceful and quiet environment and you can find everything you need here.
I would recommend this University to anyone and I feel blessed I have had the chance to study here.
