Joanne has taught and researched topics relating to both Computing and Business for several years, after graduating with a computing degree and later completing a Masters in Business Management. She now has a keen interest in combining Business and Technology to provide innovative solutions.
She has several years experience of lecturing in higher education and is dedicated to bringing employability to the heart of her lectures, which is made possible with the inclusion of guest speakers, field trips and real-world projects.
Her teaching experience includes E-Business, Marketing and Advertising modules, as well as Web Development and programming, in previous years. She holds a PGCert higher education teaching qualification and is currently researching for her doctoral (PhD) study in the field of open source intelligence and recruitment.
