Angela Kemunto Nyambane from Kenya

MA Education

I was intrigued by University of Worcester’s reputation for providing a sound academic environment for personal growth. There were wide courses on offer which allowed me to plan a Masters programme that suit me. I was also impressed by what I read about the high standards of teaching at the University. I’d like to think it has opened my eyes to a brighter future. I feel I have now entered the competitive work arena with academic tools.

I must say that Worcester is a great place to study because there are so many social, sporting and cultural activities in the compact city centre, a magnificent 11th century cathedral and if that is not enough, it’s quick and easy to get all over the UK from Worcester due to the fact that it's in the heart of England.

In addition to that, I am grateful for the Association of Common Wealth Universities, glad Worcester is among them, for their generous Common Wealth scholarship towards my studies -  for sure you ‘aspire to inspire'. For me I agree with Professor David Green, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive that the University of Worcester ‘is a very special place to study.’
