Gill has been working at the University of Worcester since 2012 and has been Course Leader for Sport Business Management since January 2015.  Gill teaches on professional placement modules and supports students undertaking placement years in the sport industry.  Gill also teaches in modules related to her research interests such as sports tourism, event project management and sports marketing.  Since 2018 Gill has been working on an Erasmus+ funded collaborative sport project aiming to educate Generation Z on the issues relating to gender equality and equal opportunities in sport and is currently researching in the areas related to sport event volunteering at parkrun and Gen Z communication preferences.
