Offered in partnership with the College of Legal Practice, the course will begin in September 2026.

Students will benefit from one-to-one support from expert lecturers, workshops and role-play in the simulation courtroom facilities, and have volunteering opportunities with practicing solicitors, working on real cases.

Danielle Hopton-Jones, LLM Course Leader at the University of Worcester, said: “We’re incredibly excited to launch our new LLM. It offers students the best comprehensive tuition for SQE from the College of Legal Practice, alongside specialist knowledge and practical skills in dynamic practice-based modules, delivered by experts at the University of Worcester.”

“This course responds to the current needs of employers, and is entirely practice-focussed,” she added. “We are determined that Worcester graduates will thrive in the legal community, following in the footsteps of our high-achieving alumni.”

Modules on the course will include preparation for SQE 1 & 2, Legal Practice Preparation and an Applied Legal Research Project.

The course is offered on both a full time (12 month) and part-time (24 month) basis.

Giles Proctor, CEO of the College of Legal Practice, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the University of Worcester to provide more opportunities for students to progress their legal career development.”

“As a higher-education institution, we have much in common with the University of Worcester, particularly providing both the quality of learning and the pastoral care and guidance students need to work through the SQE syllabus,” he added.
