Details on how to access PEP and view allocations are below.  More instruction manuals will be added over the next year.

Requesting access to PEP 

To log in to PEP you will need a username, this is emailed to you when you are identified as a PEP contact.

If you need access to PEP please complete and return the Placement Area Form: PEP New Users/Change of Contact (PDF).  

Electronic Timesheet System on POW (new)

From September 2022 all students on the following courses must use the electronic timesheet on POW to record their placement hours, which then need to be authorised by a placement signatory. Written instructions are available below and an instructional video will be available soon.

• BSc Nursing (all fields of practice)
• FdSc Nursing Associate
• Nursing Associate Apprenticeship

Students on BSc and MSc Midwifery programmes will start using the new system in spring/summer 2023.

ARC Audit Tool

The Learning Environment Profiles completed for each nursing and nursing associate placement area has now been replaced by the new ARC Audit Tool.  All future audits will now take place via the audit tool and full instructions are included on this web page.  Midwifery will follow in early 2022.  Editing access to the audit tool is by specific permissions only.  The audit tool can be accessed here:
