Placement information for students
As a Nursing, Midwifery or Allied Health student, you can access the ARC POW tool for information about your placements.
Placement allocations are no longer recorded on your SOLE page, you can now access this through Placements on the Web (POW).
Help and support
Your username and password are the same as you use to access your University account.
Reporting absence
All students must notify their placement area of absence prior to their shift.
Students on BSc Nursing and Nursing Associate courses must also record all placement absences on their electronic timesheets on POW.
Students on the below courses must also contact our Placement Support Team – Nursing, Midwifery, and Allied Health by emailing plast@worc.ac.uk to advise us of absence from placement.

Electronic Timesheet System on POW (new)
From September 2022 all students on the following courses must use the electronic timesheet on POW to record their placement hours. Written instructions are available below and an instructional video will be available soon.
- BSc Nursing (all fields of practice)
- FdSc Nursing Associate
- Nursing Associate Apprenticeship
Students on BSc and MSc Midwifery programmes will start using the new system in spring/summer 2023.
