TAnDem Conference 2018: The Arts and Dementia: Impact and Implementation
Artists, service users, carers and academics came together to discuss the arts as a medium for leisure, care and learning in dementia. TAnDem researchers looked at how the arts can best be accessed by people living with dementia and at what approaches to evaluation are most suitable. Guest speakers explored the wider context for the arts and dementia in the UK.
TAnDem was one of eight Doctoral Training Centres funded by the Alzheimer’s Society. Its mission was to develop and strengthen the evidence base for the arts and dementia.
