Victoria is a part-time PhD student in the School of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Worcester.

Victoria’s main research interest is how coaches learn. Her PhD research focuses specifically on how sports coaches’ interactions at ‘boundaries of practice’ mediate learning and knowledgeability. She is conducting a qualitative study utilising a survey and semi-structured interviews, working specifically with rowing coaches in Great Britain.

Victoria’s supervisors are Dr Don Vinson, Professor Andrew Parker, Dr Christian Edwards and Dr John Alder.

Prior to commencing her PhD, Victoria worked as Director of Rowing at Cheltenham College, alongside completing her masters in Sports Coaching.

In addition to working towards her PhD, Victoria has worked with the UK Invictus team, and now works as a professional rowing coach with Bedford School Boat Club.
