Susan Singleton's passion for healthcare began at an early age, volunteering with the British Red Cross at her local hospital. After completing her A Levels, she trained and practised as a podiatrist across both the NHS and private sector, combining her interests in science, healthcare and patient-centred care.
Seeking a new professional challenge, Susan retrained as a Physician Associate, graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2018. Her clinical experience spans trauma and orthopaedics, acute medicine, surgery and primary care, where she spent almost six years developing her expertise and contributing to patient care. During this time, she also held leadership roles including PCN Lead for Early Cancer Diagnosis and Regional Physician Associate Ambassador.
Alongside her clinical work, Susan completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes Management and a PGCert in Medical and Healthcare Education. Passionate about supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals, she is now a Lecturer Practitioner on the MSc Physician Associate programme at the Three Counties Medical School, University of Worcester.
