As a Registered Paediatric Nurse since 2000, my career has been defined by high-intensity clinical care and a lifelong dedication to student mentorship.
Based out of Hereford's Children's Ward, I have navigated everything from the daily nursing of sick children on a general children’s ward to the adrenaline of the Paediatric Emergency Department to delivering 1:1 care, including ventilation support in the High Dependency unit, alongside serving as a specialist diabetic liaison nurse.
My connection to Worcester University began when I completed my Return to Practice course here—an experience so transformative it inspired me to change the direction of my career to work for the university itself.
Mentorship has always been in my DNA; I actually designed Hereford's very first Student Placement Pack back in 2000 (on paper before the digital age!). Now, as a Practice Education Facilitator, I’ve traded the paperwork for digital efficiency, bringing my lived clinical experience to support, mentor, and elevate the next generation of nursing students.
