Dr Sajad Rezaei is a Senior Lecturer specialising in digital business, marketing, data analytics, and business innovation. His work focuses on the integration of technology, analytics, and customer insight—exploring how emerging digital tools are reshaping business models, productivity, and customer experiences. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed research outputs in leading journals, including the Journal of Business Research, Computers in Human Behaviour, Journal of Internet Commerce, and the International Journal of Innovation and Learning. He has led externally funded projects, particularly in the application of AI, and has worked with the NHS on business intelligence and analytics, contributing to data-driven service improvements and strategic planning.

He has extensive experience lecturing across undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive levels, with specialisations in Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Psychology, Marketing Strategy, AI in Marketing, Data Analytics, and Research Methods. He has supervised students at all levels, including undergraduate, postgraduate, executive education, Masters by Research (MRes), PhD, and DBA programmes.

In the classroom, Dr Rezaei combines research and practical application to deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences. He works closely with students in computer labs to develop applied skills using industry tools, simulations, and certification-based platforms—equipping learners with both academic knowledge and practical credentials.

Dr Rezaei brings strong analytical capabilities, with particular expertise in quantitative methods and data analytics, which underpin both his research and teaching. His methodological approach supports rigorous empirical inquiry, practical decision-making, and evidence-led innovation across business contexts. Dr Rezaei is a recipient of The Productivity Institute Business Innovation Grant (ESRC-funded), awarded for his research on leveraging AI to enhance productivity, planning, and strategic decision-making in England.

Dr Rezaei actively collaborates with academic, industry, and public sector partners to advance innovation, support digital transformation, and harness disruptive technologies for strategic impact.
