Ruth has worked as a lecturer and manager in UK Higher Education for over 25 years. After starting her EFL career in Turkey and Spain in the 1990s, Ruth returned to the UK after completing the RSA Diploma in TEFL in 1999. She specialises in teaching academic English and skills to international and home students. Ruth became an approved CELTA course trainer in 2005 and teaches on the TEFL modules and the full-time CELTA course. Ruth has the RSA CELTA (1992), the Level 7 RSA DTEFLA (1999), the Level 7 ILM Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching (2021) and a Diploma in Health and Wellness Coaching (2024)
