Teaching & Research
Robyn teaches Sociology in the Institute of Arts and Humanities and is passionate about making higher education and learning accessible and inclusive by design.
Robyn's research interests are sociology of the body and health, in particular the embodiment of ‘contested bodies’ and stigmatised bodies. Robyn’s additional areas of expertise are the sociology of education with a focus on critical university studies, sociological theory, race and racism, migration and ‘superdiversity’.
