Naomi is a lecturer in Psychology. She obtained her BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Bath in 2018 and PhD in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen in 2023. Her PhD thesis examined how biases towards the self are influenced by emotions and rewards.

Research Interests

Naomi’s current research focuses on the influence of cognitive bias interactions (e.g., prioritised processing of self-related, emotionally positive and rewarding information), the relationship between cognitive biases and mental health disorders and their neural underpinnings.
