Mark is the Head of Department for Allied Health and a Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science. Having completed three degrees at Worcester himself, he understands the student journey first‑hand and is passionate about supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Alongside his academic role, Mark works as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Paramedic) in primary and urgent care, bringing real‑world experience directly into his teaching. His career began in public service as a Firefighter before becoming a Paramedic, giving him a broad and grounded perspective on emergency and frontline care.
Mark’s goal is to help students grow in confidence, develop their professional identity, and feel part of a community that genuinely wants them to succeed.
