Kirsty qualified as a nurse from the Worcestershire and Hereford School of Nursing & Midwifery in 1991. She has enjoyed a long NHS career in a variety of roles. Most latterly, she has been working as a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Birmingham City University. She joined the University of Worcester in March 2019 and is delighted to be working in such a vibrant, progressive University.

RGN, Registered Nurse Teacher, Specialist Practitioner (Adult Nursing)  
MA.Ed, FHEA.

Teaching

I am particularly interested in teaching both essential and complex clinical skills, physical health assessments and simulation, integrating theoretical content and evidence. This is essential to provide increasingly complex nursing care to meet the needs of a changing, diverse and ageing population.
