Hilary is the course leader for the Diagnostic Radiography programme at the University of Worcester. She has worked in various hospitals, including a major trauma centre. Hilary has been involved in radiography education for almost 20 years and is passionate about students reaching their potential within the profession. She is interested in curriculum development and how individuals train radiographers who are fit for the future workforce.

Qualifications

  • Masters in Education – Birmingham City University
  • BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography – University of Wales College of Medicine

Teaching Interests

Hilary teaches across the whole Diagnostic Radiography programme. Her particular interests are equipping students with research skills, right from the start of their course. She also teaches professional practice, anatomy and physiology and clinical skills.

Research Interests

Hilary's research interests are the placement experience and how radiography education is equipping students with skills for the future of the profession.
