George completed his BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science and MSc in Applied Sport Physiology at the University of Worcester prior to the commencement of his role as an Exercise Physiologist at the University.
George partners with the Hereford and Worcester fire service to provide specialist clinical support to operational firefighters. His work focuses on maintaining their health, enhancing wellbeing and ensuring they are physically prepared to meet the demands of their role safely and effectively.

- Level 3 Diploma in Gym Instructing and Personal Training
Scope of Role at the University
George's role at the University encompasses the delivery of evidence-based exercise physiology services to operational firefighters across the Hereford and Worcester region. He is responsible for assessment, programme design and the implementation of interventions across Hereford and Worcester fire service.
External Responsibilities
Maintaining a working relationship with Hereford and Worcester fire service and advising on their current fitness policy.
Ensuring that contractual obligations are filled.
Internal Responsibilities
Providing clinical placement opportunities for students.
Associate lecturer on BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science course.
