I qualified as a mental health nurse in 2019 and spent my early qualified years on an inpatient mental health ward. Following this, I worked in a Neighbourhood Mental Health Team as a Mental Health Practitioner and then moved into a specialist psychosis team.
I have a particular interest in mental health and substance use/addictions and am currently completing a masters degree with Middlesex University. I am keen to support students to feel confident in understanding substance use, addictions and how this impacts on clinical practice and patient recovery.
I have worked with many students in practice and am excited to have the opportunity to support their development to qualified nurses through the University of Worcester.
