I am a Registered Adult Nurse, qualifying in 2018, with a broad and diverse background across acute, critical care, community and private healthcare settings. Through the years I have been committed to delivering high quality, evidence-based patient- centred care and have developed a strong clinical skill set through working with complex patient groups in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.

I began my nursing career at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust on a stroke and neurology ward, where I gained a solid foundation in acute care and rehabilitation. I then progressed to a Critical Care role within The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, managing patients with complex burns, trauma, neurological conditions and COVID-19. I then later expanded my professional scope and became a certified Disability Assessor where I conducted structured clinical assessments and produced detailed evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions and gained additional responsibilities as a Buddy, supporting other colleagues and contributed to initial reviews and audit.

From here I transitioned into becoming a theatre practitioner with Optical express, delivering perioperative care nationwide.

I am passionate about supporting both patients and colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes, and promote education, proactive mentorship, and professional development.
