Teaching & Research
Ann is particularly interested in Pedagogy and has taught on both undergraduate and postgraduate study in this area. Within the field of ITT Ann has brought expertise in behaviour management and in her specialist subject of primary History.
She has regularly undertaken supervision of research projects and dissertations at Masters Level.
Ann has supervised projects in Primary History and brings particular strengths in the areas of Mentoring of ITE students and NQTs and is especially concerned with aspects of Values education.
Ann's specific research interests include the pedagogy and curriculum of history education and related values, and citizenship education within the subject.
