I have had the privilege of completing my Adult Nursing BSC Hons with Worcester University in 2016.

Since then, I have worked in many diverse working environments including: Acute, outpatient and clinic settings: Gastroenterology, district nursing , oncology nursing from to which I have thoroughly enjoyed.

However, I found my passion for Oncology in 2021 working on the Georgina Unit at RHH. Since then my career has progressed to an Oncology CNS at Newcross Hospital where I specialised in Respiratory and Bowel cancer particularly. Within this role I conducted nurse-led toxicity reviews for patients on chemotherapy and immunotherapy, supporting student doctors with learning, conducted teaching sessions on new treatments to colleagues and community supporting teams to ensure holistic support to oncology patients and avoid hospital admissions where possible. I am very proud to say that I also implemented the first international nursing programme onto our oncology department which we were very successful in supporting our nurses in such a specialist area.

I have a keen passion for continued learning to which I have exercised in every environment I have been exposed to. Throughout my oncology years, I have achieved Level 6 and 7 degrees in oncology SACT (systemic anti-cancer therapy) and I am currently working towards my Masters degree.

I endeavour to guide, encourage, coach and provide such training for our upcoming nurses of the future, as the ever-changing world of Nursing continues to guide our learning journeys and ensure gold-standard care for our patients.
