Call for exhibitors as Worcester STEAMfest returns

Taking place at The Hive on Saturday 23 January, STEAMfest brings together science, technology, engineering, arts and maths-inspired activities for hundreds of visitors from across the region.

Organisers are now seeking businesses, education providers, charities, community organisations and hobby groups to host interactive stands, demonstrations and activities that inspire people of all ages.

Katie Mace, Team Leader at The Hive and organiser of STEAMfest, said: “STEAMfest is all about bringing people together to discover, create and learn. Every year we see hundreds and hundreds of people come through the doors for the event, and the organisations that take part play a huge role in making the event a success.”

“We’re looking for a wide range of exhibitors,” said Katie. “We’re really keen to hear from groups who can offer an engaging, hands-on experience. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase what you do and connect with families and young people in our community.”

Among the groups already preparing for the January event are the University of Worcester’s Department of Computing, The Institute of Physics, Discover Materials, the British Computing Society, Fizz Pop Science, George Marshall Medical Museum and more.

Katie Mace said: “Whether you can offer a workshop, a demonstration or an interactive activity, STEAMfest is a great chance to inspire curiosity and creativity while sharing your expertise with our visitors.”
