Student Performances Open to the Public

Dance students at the University of Worcester are putting on a special performance next week, open to all.
Final year students will perform two pieces, Nina and Rotten to the Core, from a show they have been touring, called ‘Dancing Through Life’.
Nina is a stunning celebration of the music of the Queen of Soul, Nina Simone, with classic songs played on an old-fashioned record player. As a contrast, Rotten to the Core revisits creepy fairytales from childhood.
The students will also be showing a sneak preview of their brand-new piece, Leap of Faith.
They have been working with professional choreographers to stage the performances, which will take place in the Dance Studio on St John’s Campus (EE G100) at 2:30pm on Thursday, December 19.
