Please read what some of our current Cypriot students are saying about Worcester
Charalampis, Giorgos and Chrysovalantis Papaioannou
After completing two years of compulsory military service in their home country, Charalampis, Giorgos and Chrysovalantis Papaioannou decided to study abroad and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve their dream jobs. Here is what the triplets have to say about their time at the University of Worcester so far:
Giorgos, who is studying Biology, explains “When we decided to study in England, the University of Worcester stood out from the other institutions by offering the courses that suited our different interests. The education system is really different. Here at Worcester, the technology is more advanced and the range of modules that we can select from and add to our curriculum is impressive – this way we can combine our main course with any other subject that is an interest of ours. I really enjoy the wide range of practical tasks and the field trips that we have as part of the course. Being able to try new things helps me develop a better understanding of the things I am reading about. I am hoping to take over the family plant nursery business; when I have completed my degree”
Charalampis, a computing student says “we have nearly completed our first semester and are enjoying life in Worcester very much. It took us a while to adjust to the language and the culture, but everyone is so friendly and supportive here, which made settling in a lot easier. I hope to run my own computing firm one day with the skills I learn here”
Papaioannou who is studying Nutrition said “I am really enjoying my course and living and studying here and I would like to follow in my parents’ footsteps and run my own business, hopefully in nutrition consultancy for professional athletes”

The first thing that anyone can notice at the University of Worcester is the huge green campus, full of activities. There is movement all the time and a friendly environment to enjoy at the University. I can’t pass over the great study rooms that are complete with the latest technology. The teachers are very helpful and always ready to discuss any subject in the best way and with a smile on their faces. Also in the library you can find anything that you want and it’s so easy for everyone to use. The computers are connected with high speed internet connection and the amazing library has a lot of E-books.
The best accommodation that you can find is at University of Worcester. The brand new rooms are ranked with 5/5 because the interior design is absolutely beautiful and includes high quality products.
At the city of Worcester you can find anything. A lot of popular shops are in the town centre and everything is so close. I can’t skip the entertainment life because amazing bars and clubs are in the town. In addition if you want something more, Birmingham is only 45min by rail.
I am sure that University of Worcester is the best choice for me, as for everyone!
