1998-2001-PhD studentship supervisor (FT over 3 years) The Effects of self-efficacy on the transfer of training from two police constabulary training courses (doctoral thesis used as basis for operational changes to training practices). Funding: £18,000.

1998-2000-West Mercia Constabulary Evaluation of the Effects of the Beat Managers Scheme (RA appointed and report with implementation plan produced). Funding:£25,000 (see Publications 3.)

1999-2000-West Mercia Constabulary The Role of Special Constables in the Constabulary (report with recommendation produced). Funding: £5,000.

1998-9 West Mercia Constabulary Evaluation of the Effects of the Youth Justice Teams Caution Plus Programme (report with recommendations produced). Funding: £2,000.

2001-ongoing Sandwell Social Services The implementation and evaluation of Age Awareness Workshops. Funding:£3,000 (see Publications 5.)

2000-2001 Black Country Health Consortium Scoping the needs of the Consortium for the implementation of clinical supervision (report and recommendations produced). Funding: £7,000.
