Alice is a part-time PhD student in the Mood Disorders Research Group at the University of Worcester.
Alice’s research concerns paternal postpartum mental health. She is conducting a mixed methods study focusing on mood episodes in the postpartum period among men who have bipolar disorder.
Alice is a member of the Bipolar Disorder Research Network.
Her supervisors are Professor Lisa Jones, Dr Berenice Mahoney and Dr Katherine Gordon-Smith.
Prior to commencing her PhD, Alice worked as a secondary school teacher specialising in Computing and Media for seven years. After a short career break, she decided to retrain and follow her passion for a career in Psychology.
