Information for students, staff and partners about the coronavirus and our response at the University of Worcester.

The World Health Organisation has labelled the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, defined as a disease that is spreading in multiple countries around the world at the same time.

Changes to lockdown rules - Monday 12 April

On Monday 12 April, England’s lockdown rules eased further as part of the Government’s spring roadmap. On campus this means the Hive library has fully opened again. It also means you can take part in organised actvities and more catering options are now available - with a new market stall serving hot food from 11am until 2pm on the Quad outside the SU building. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the restrictions.

Everyone should continue to follow the guidelines designed to protect your own safety and wellbeing, and that of others around you. This includes following the government guidelines with regards to social distancing and the use of face coverings.

Teaching arrangements remain the same and we are awaiting further Government guidance on when we can welcome all students back to in-person teaching on campus. Once we hear from the government on in-person teaching we will contact all students.
