Suzanne has been a qualified social worker for over twenty years, working with adults. Within this time, she has supported a variety of students on their first and last placements. Suzanne holds the Practice Educators’ Award, Stage One and Two. She has also supported colleagues in completion of their Stage One Practice Awards.

Suzanne has enjoyed supporting the learning and development that takes place with students, sharing her knowledge and skills, providing encouragement and support when needed.
Suzanne has planned and facilitated workshops for students around elements required to meet the PCFs with a certain expertise around reflective models of practice.

Suzanne has also been carers lead for the authority she worked for, raising the profile of carers and supporting social workers with strength-based assessments and care plans for carers.
