Jane is a part-time PhD student in the School of Allied Health and Community at the University of Worcester.

Jane’s main research interest is the influence of nutrition on the health and wellbeing of cancer survivors. Her PhD research concerns investigating the impact of a 12-week group lifestyle intervention for women who have completed their initial treatment for breast cancer. She is conducting a mixed methods study looking at dietary intake, self-efficacy, patient reported outcomes, physical health measures and participant experiences. The study has a quasi-experimental design in which comparative data are collected in the weeks before the intervention. A long-term follow up will also be carried out after 12 months.

Jane’s study is also registered with Research Registry (researchregistry765)

Her supervisors are Dr Rosie Erol and Dr Allain Bueno.
