I currently run two busy private practices in Hereford and London where I work as Nutritional Therapist specialising in Functional Medicine.
I specialise in functional laboratory testing and supporting adults and children with complex health conditions.
I have a particular interest in prenatal, antenatal nutrition and children's health.
Qualifications
2014 PG Diploma Nutritional Therapy
2001 PG Award Social Work and Family Assessment
1999 University of Sussex Masters Degree in Social Work
I am also a qualified Natural Family Planning teacher, auricular acupuncturist, NLP Practitioner and life coach.
Teaching & Research
On the course I teach mainly on the complex case analysis module where I am involved in supporting students to learn how to use Functional Medicine in their practice.
I also use a lot of functional lab testing in my own work so I integrate this in to the modules to give students an understanding of how to use tests in practice.
I teach some of the workshops on motivational interviewing and behaviour change.
I am also an assessor in the final clinical skills module where I support students to develop skills in the clinic environment.
