We know that many of you have been away from your schools or colleges for some time and there is a lot of uncertainly about how grades will be awarded this year. We also know that some people will be re-thinking gap years and will want to know more about starting a course this September. We're here to help guide you through your options.

Why Worcester?

At Worcester we plan to begin on-campus teaching from September. We want you to have opportunities and experiences that are enriching, purposeful and enjoyable. Further down the page you can read more about our plans to achieve this in a safe and flexible way.

Worcester itself is a beautiful, safe, university city within easy reach of Birmingham. It’s a great place to live, study, make friends an achieve your potential.

We’re a campus-based university with plenty of student parking and on-site accommodation. This means you can safely and conveniently access our world class facilities.

In person teaching from September

We intend to start the academic year as planned in September 2020.

For many years, the majority of our teaching has taken place in small group settings such as seminars, laboratory classes, tutorials, clinical simulation and other practical sessions. We are planning to continue to teach these in person, while strictly following the Government safety guidelines in place at the time.

Other sessions will be delivered through a blend of in-person and online learning. You can read more about this approach in our coronavirus FAQs.

Already got your exam results?

The main Clearing period starts on 13 August (A level results day), but if you've already got your exam results and haven't yet applied to Worcester then there's no need to wait. Apply now via our online application form.
