Conferencing

The University of Worcester is the ideal location for conferences with its central location, excellent transport links, leafy campus and city centre offering plenty for delegates to enjoy – a fascinating riverside Cathedral city, a range of bars and bistros and world famous sporting venues such as the Worcestershire County Cricket Ground, Worcester Rugby Club and the oldest racecourse in the country.

Accessibility

We welcome guests with disabilities and recognise that you may need additional support. If you have any specific requirements or questions regarding accessibility please discuss this with us as early as possible. There are a number of accessible bedrooms with en suite shower rooms and lower level fitments, providing specific facilities to meet your needs. We can also provide hearing loops and welcome assistance dogs on campus.

Where full access cannot be offered, this will always be advised at initial stage of contact, when we will be happy to discuss alternatives. We would always recommend that you visit the venue in person in order to determine the venue suitability for your event.

Sustainability

We are committed to Sustainable Development and have won recognition as an environmentally friendly university. Our unique portfolio of venues, are fully integrated within the University of Worcester’s sustainability policy. Our aim is to deliver good value and sustainability, from locally sourced food items to operational equipment.

We encourage the use of public transport or car sharing where possible. For events taking place in our venues, we like to draw attention to our recycling facilities and also energy saving practices.
