Here you will discover more about the roles that are required in all practice settings where pre-registration nursing, nurse associate and midwifery students have learning experiences as detailed within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) (2018) Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment (SSSA).
In order to provide support, supervision and assessment of the students' achievement of the required proficiencies to attain a registrable qualification with the NMC everyone must receive some preparatory training.
