PGCE

Applicants for PGCE courses should be made through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR).

Those applying for Primary PGCE courses should apply between 1st September and 1st December of the year preceding entry to the course. Applications received after this date will only be considered if there are still vacancies on the course.

You can apply for up to four separate courses. These may be a mixture of levels and subjects but no more than four for Primary courses. You should list the courses in the order of preference. The application fee is £15 for 2008 entry.

For Secondary PGCE, there is no early closing date for applications. ITT providers are not obliged to consider applications which were received at the GTTR by a specific date.
