The Primary Partnership currently works with approximately 500 early years and foundation stage, Key Stage 1 and 2 educational settings. It values the expertise and opportunity offered by its diverse partners and celebrates the consistently high quality experience that all learners are offered. These long established relationships have built links for teaching placements and future employment. The quality of Partnership working is ‘outstanding’ (OfSTED, 2010), with partner schools very committed to the continuing improvement and development of the provision.
The work of the Primary Partnership includes both initial teacher education and continuing professional development, utilising accredited learning through the Institute’s Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma and Masters programmes.
The Primary Partnership benefits from the diversity of school-experience that it can offer trainee and experienced teachers – from small, rural schools in the Worcestershire and Herefordshire countryside to large, urban schools in Dudley, Birmingham, and Worcester city.
