Qualifying with a BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing from Oxford Brookes University in 2008, Jenna worked on a medical ward at the Worcester Royal Hospital for four years. During this time, she developed an interest in public health and improving health for families and children. In 2012, she commenced her Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor), qualifying in 2013. She worked in health visiting until joining the University in 2024 and remain passionate about Public Health and Public Health Nursing.

Wanting to develop her knowledge and skills to support students in practice, she completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education at University of Worcester in 2023. In the near future, she would like to undertake a Master’s in Education to provide excellence in her teaching.
