This conference marks ten years since the 2016 UK referendum on EU membership and explores the public law and constitutional implications of the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union (Brexit).
The two-day event brings together experts to explore a range of issues including the impact of Brexit on the devolution settlement, accountability, parliament, rights and equality, and much more.
The event is funded by the Society of Legal Scholars Subject Section Fund.
The event will take place at the University of Worcester, City Campus, Jenny Lind Building. This is an in-person event and hybrid/online participation is not available.

Book discussion
The conference will also feature a book discussion with Tom Hickman KC (UCL, Blackstone Chambers) and Prof. Gavin Phillipson (University of Bristol) on their forthcoming book ‘Constitutional Fracture: How Brexit Revealed Deep Fault-Lines in the British Constitution’ (Bristol University Press, 2027).

Registration
This is a free conference but all attendees (with the exception of speakers) must sign up to attend.
Upon arrival, everyone (including speakers) must register their attendance at the reception of Jenny Lind Building.
