Join us to engage with a 'hidden history' of parenting - the choice not to be a parent - to learn something new, meet others in the same position, and build communities.
This drop-in pop up will feature displays and short talks from Dr Anna Muggeridge and Dr Lucy Arnold on historic and literary representations of being childfree in Britain. Attendees will also have the option to sign up to be part of an oral history project which seeks to gather stories from people who have consciously decided not to have children (note: taking part in the oral history project entirely optional, and you are welcome to attend the event and not sign up for further involvement).
Everyone is welcome at this event, but we anticipate it may be of particular interest to the voluntarily childfree.
