Our Advanced Clinical Practice MSc is a multidisciplinary programme that is open to experienced healthcare professionals seeking to advance their service with master's level qualifications.  The objective of the program is defined in the Midlands Faculty for Advancing Practice 2025, and it aligns to the Multi-professional Framework for Advanced Clinical Practice (NHS England 2025).  Our postgraduate scheme enables you to develop knowledge and skills in your specialist area studying part time for over 3 - 6 years.  There is also an opportunity to facilitate a personally focused course to meet the needs of your role, speciality and sector.

The PGCert Enhanced Clinical Practitioner course is designed to support you as an experienced health and care practitioner to develop skills in complex reasoning, critical thinking, and analysis. It will support you to begin a career as an Enhanced Clinical Practitioner, allowing you to further develop specific knowledge and skills in your field of expertise. The programme is multi-professional and aimed at registrants who aspire to work at an enhanced level of practice, independently and autonomously within multidisciplinary teams within a wide range of settings, including hospitals, community clinics, individual's homes and in dental and general practices.

The Independent and Supplementary Prescribing course at Worcester is a multi-professional course which fundamentally enables practitioners within their therapeutic areas and clinical specialities from a variety of clinical settings to develop safe and effective prescribing practice.  By building on your existing knowledge and experience, as well as health assessment skills, autonomous practice and professional development are enhanced whilst prescribing safely, appropriately, and cost effectively in line with your professional and regulatory standard and code of conduct.  This Masters Level 30 credit six month blended learning course has 2 intakes per academic year. It is delivered part time and is currently open to Nurses, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists and Therapeutic Radiographers.
