There are a number of people and services that may be able to help you.

You can speak to a firstpoint Adviser in one of the confidential consulting rooms.  Just call in or telephone on 01905 542 551 or email firstpoint@worc.ac.uk if you'd like to make an appointment.

The Counselling Service offers a free and confidential service to all students.  You can refer yourself online via their webpages, or contact them by email to counselling@worc.ac.uk or telephone them on 01905 855 417 or 01905 855 105.

If you have a pre-diagnosed mental health problem you can contact the Mental Health Advisers via email at mentalhealth@worc.ac.uk or telephone on 01905 855 447.

The Student Support and Wellbeing Team are able to offer support relating to bullying and harassment, self-harm, and issues related to living in University shared accommodation.  Email them on studentlife@worc.ac.uk or telephone on 07811 458 754 or make an appointment via firstpoint.

If you are feeling homesick or generally struggling to settle into life at university, you may wish to have an appointment with our Student Support and Wellbeing Team.  You can telephone them directly on 07811 458 754 or email at studentlife@worc.ac.uk

If you think you are being bullied or are experiencing any form of harassment, such as unwanted attention, you can contact one of the University's Initial Harassment Advisers for advice and support.  The Advisers are members of staff who have volunteered for the role.  They have a wide range of different skills, backgrounds and experiences.  All have received training in bullying and harassment.  How your experiences are dealt with will be up to you.  You might choose to speak to an Adviser in person, via email or phone.  You might just want someone to listen to your experiences or you might choose to take the issue further.  The role of the Adviser is to listen, discuss and explain your options and support you with whatever action you might choose to take.
