Tim is a theatre maker, arts consultant and lecturer with a particular interest in socially engaged practice. His main focus at Worcester is the Integrated Masters programme. He also teaches on the Undergraduate and MA programmes.

A specialist in theatre and learning disability, and mental health, Tim is co-founder and was artistic director of award winning Mind the Gap for 26 years, creating 18 national touring productions, 10 site-specific specific works, and 100+ educational and training programmes. He has started 4 arts companies, 2 of which are still operating. He also led the development of a £2.2m inclusive artists workspace.

Tim is currently working on:

Inclusion Room: a programme of work that looks at inclusion and exclusion within mainstream education

Bradford Revolution 2017: a large scale performing arts project, pervasive game and legislative theatre programme

Gutted: a solo show that looks at science, medicine and the performing arts

Muted 2023: a programme of work that seeks examine the nature of hidden impairments within the arts

Tim is currently on Creative Case North steering committee a group that promotes diversity within Arts Council England's National Portfolio companies, and Culture Forum North, a group that encourages the development of links between academia and the creative industries.
